Whim of color is a a reflection of admiration for Goya, which has motivated him to produce each bullfighting collection.
As he himself relates, the attraction that the artist from Aragón awoke in him has caused him to follow as a disciple of the master’s printed image, which in its palette combined warm tones with rapid, sure lines in his drawings of “La Tauromaquia”. In addition, in Whim of color one can see the influence of the Altamira cave painters, reflecting the admiration that the photographer feels for those simple and schematic figures.
